Medical Practice Manager
About The Position
We are seeking a Medical Practice Manager, sometimes referred to as a Practice Manager or Clinic Manager. Our Medical Practice Manager will oversee daily clinic operations, support staffing and workflow efficiency, and deliver exceptional patient care experience. The Medical Practice Manager will lead the team, manage financial performance, ensure compliance, and partner closely with providers to support access and growth. Requirements
- Excellent computer and word processing skills
- Knowledge of equipment and machines used in the clinics office
- Knowledge of insurance, collection procedures and regulations
- Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current
Nice To Haves
- Bachelors Degree in Business, Accounting or Finance
- Management experience
- Three to five years experience in health care practice/medical office
Responsibilities
- Report to the Practice Administration and Clinic Director and provides leadership and administrative oversight to practice operations
- Plan, develop, and organize workflows while directing day to day activities of staff and practice functions
- Manage financial performance including staffing efficiency budget awareness and supporting revenue cycle processes
- Promote the practice within Southside Family Medicine and throughout the broader medical community
- Maintain working knowledge of clinical operations and steps in to support coverage when needed within licensure guidelines
