ENT and Allergy Associates of Florida, has an opportunity for an experienced individual seeking a full-time job Monday - Friday, 8:00-5:00 as the Practice Administrator. We have 2 locations in the Boynton Beach area, with, 4 Physicians, 3 Midlevels and 2 Doctoral Clinical Audiologist. Our providers have served the community for over 62 years. Our board-certified physicians Midlevels and doctors of audiology have completed extensive education and clinical training. Position Summary Provide operational leadership and direction to ensure completion of medical practice and corporate objectives and goals for a fast paced and growing organization. Responsible for the management of assigned personnel, ancillary departments. Key involvement in working with the regional leadership team to plan strategic initiatives and programs including the allocation of staff and resources to meet these objectives.

Requirements

  • Graduation from a recognized college or university with a degree in business administration, health care administration, or similar degree.
  • Three or more years of management experience in a busy multi-physician medical practice.
  • Ability to deal effectively and quickly with patients, physicians, and employees.
  • Possess the ability to think on the spot and to clearly make decisions in initiating business office policy.
  • Ability to communicate to leadership and staff.
  • Possesses knowledge of modern office equipment, systems, and procedures.
  • Coordination, manual, and physical dexterity sufficient to properly and adequately use various items of medical equipment and office equipment as required of the position or directed by the Manager.
  • The position may involve sitting, standing, bending, and stooping.
  • The incumbent must also be capable of lifting up to 25 pounds.
  • Travel between locations is required.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of assigned personnel and ancillary departments, including the review and analysis of key metrics, conducting regular meetings with assigned ancillary department staff, the follow-up of initiatives, and then develops recommendations for operational improvement.
  • Daily oversight and direction of the medical practice's clinical offices, including staffing levels, clinical processes to include in office OR suite, training, physician and provider management.
  • Reviews and documents clinical processes to improve workflows, eliminate wastes, and create efficiencies to maximize production.
  • Ensure compliance with all various regulatory agencies and personnel issues including AAAHC, HIPAA, FLSA, EEO, ADA, OSHA, CT accreditation, etc.
  • Responsible to work closely with regional leaders to determine profitability, staffing, processes, and growth opportunities.
  • Responsible for the review and approval of bi-weekly payroll and making needed adjustments to the payroll for proper and timely processing.
  • Responsible for the day-to-day HR oversight and then working with the centralized HR department on postings for job openings, all employee issues, adherence to HR policy, disciplinary actions, and the proper onboarding of new employees. This also includes the revision of job descriptions and hiring requirements.
  • Work on long range strategic plans to support the practice growth and goals, including the implementation of the goals and plans and then monitoring the ongoing effectiveness of the plans.
