Texas Oncology is excited to announce the opportunity for a full-time, vibrant, team-oriented Medical Physicist (MS or PhD) to join our group of four radiation oncology centers located in the San Antonio, TX region. Requirements

Board certification or board eligibility in therapy physics by the ABR
A valid Texas state license
2+ years of experience
Working knowledge of SRS, SBRT, and HDR
Experience with Varian linear accelerators
Excellent organizational and written/verbal communication skills

Nice To Haves

Eclipse treatment planning experience
HDR treatment planning and delivery
ARIA proficiency
Prior experience with SBRT and SRS programmatic workflows

Responsibilities

Although each center operates independently day-to-day, all four collaborate as fully staffed Texas Oncology clinics in the greater San Antonio and New Braunfels areas. The centers share a unified ARIA R&V database, Eclipse TPS (3D/IMRT/SBRT), Radcalc secondary check, and Sun Nuclear QA devices.
Across the region, clinical resources include four Varian linear accelerators (C-Series and TrueBeam), a Nucletron HDR afterloader, four CT simulators (GE and Siemens), and a mobile GE PET/CT. Collectively, the centers treat approximately 140 patients per day.
