Requirements

• Medical Physicist obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

Nice To Haves

• A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in a clinical radiation oncology environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the precision of patient treatments by collaborating directly with radiation oncologists to calculate exact dosages and design custom treatment aids that maximize therapeutic results.
• Guarantee clinical excellence and safety by performing rigorous calibrations and quality control on all imaging and radiation equipment to ensure 100% accuracy in delivery.
• Cultivate a culture of safety by educating clinical staff on radiation best practices and implementing robust safety protocols that protect both our team and our patients.
• Drive technological innovation by evaluating and recommending next-generation imaging equipment and products that keep our department at the forefront of cancer care.
