Practicing within a Commission on Cancer (CoC)-accredited comprehensive cancer program, you’ll play a vital role in delivering patient-centered, evidence-based care as part of a multidisciplinary oncology team.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
Current ARNP certification and licensure in Washington State
DEA, NPI & prescriptive authority
Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification by the American Heart Association

Responsibilities

Provides specialized care for patients undergoing cancer treatment, including administering systemic therapies such as chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and targeted agents.
Assess and manage treatment-related symptoms.
Coordinate care across disciplines, and support patients through education, counseling, and survivorship planning.
Work alongside oncologists, nurses, pharmacists, social workers, and other specialists to coordinate holistic patient care.
Order, interpret, and follow up on diagnostic tests and imaging.
Offer clear guidance on follow up care, medication regimens, and lifestyle modifications to support informed decision-making.
Participate in tumor boards, care conferences, and quality improvement initiatives.
Document all patient interactions and clinical decisions in the electronic medical record (EMR).
Stay current with oncology best practices, emerging therapies, and clinical guidelines through continuing education and training.
