Shape Your Practice: Unlike traditional roles with rigid patient quotas, this position allows you to grow and specialize in one or two diseases while building a practice in an expanding program. Long-Term Vision: Over the next 4-5 years, we plan to grow to 25 faculty members with a highly subspecialized focus, ensuring that every patient has access to expert care. Clinical Trials & Research: We are committed to establishing over 100 active clinical trials, including Phase 1, 2, and 3 studies, with direct support from Dr. Michael Caligiuri (a world-renowned physician, scientist, builder, innovator, leader and visionary at City of Hope.) Academic & Leadership Opportunities: Work closely with UICOMP with potential for an academic appointment and leadership. Innovative Care Model: OSF is spearheading our own expert-driven model, ensuring a multi-organ, expert-based approach to oncology care.

  • Develop a subspecialized practice in your area of interest.
  • Participate in groundbreaking clinical trials with strong pharmaceutical partnerships with companies like Origin.
  • Collaborate with a small, close-knit team of colleagues during the early stages of program development.
  • Help establish a future oncology program and train the next generation of oncologists.
  • Board-certified/board-eligible Medical Oncologist.
  • Passionate about building something new and shaping the future of oncology.
  • Interest in subspecialized oncology and involvement in clinical trials.
  • A collaborative mindset, excited to work in a growing program with leadership opportunities.
  • Licenses/Certifications: Physician Licensed (or eligible to be licensed) to practice medicine in current state. Licensed by the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration and the State of Illinois to prescribe narcotics, if applicable.
  • Board certified or board eligible in the appropriate specialty(ies). Obtain and maintain medical staff membership and appropriate privileges.
  • Must be eligible as a provider for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs.
  • Physician shall meet all qualifications to participate in OSF programs for professional malpractice and other liability coverage.
  • Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care aligned to the preferences, goals, and needs of the patients served
