We are currently seeking a board certified/board eligible Medical Oncologist to join our team in Chambersburg, PA.

Requirements

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) Required or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) Required.
  • Licensed Medical Physician and Surgeon Upon Hire Required or Licensed Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Upon Hire Required.
  • Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine or Diplomate of the American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine. Upon Hire Required.
  • Certification of Added Competency in Hematology-Oncology. Upon Hire Required.
  • Completion of an Internal Medicine residency. Upon Hire Required.
  • Fellowship in Hematology-Oncology. Upon Hire Required.
  • Must qualify and be a member of the Medical Staff of Gettysburg Hospital. Upon Hire Required.

Responsibilities

  • Primarily outpatient role, supported by a top-tier team of hospitalists and critical care physicians; no direct patient admissions required.
  • Work alongside a cooperative team of radiation oncologists, breast surgeons, thoracic surgeons, and surgical oncologists.
  • Engage in tumor boards, research projects, clinical trials, and quality improvement initiatives.
