Presbyterian Medical Group seeks a Board Eligible / Board Certified Hematology/Oncology trained physician to join the Cancer Care Program in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Practice Highlights 60% Oncology / 40% Hematology Clinic hours M – F 8 -5 Wednesday and Thursday Tumor Board Practice Responsibilities: 80% office, 10% inpatient, 10% admin. Call frequency: 7 weeks per year Member of the New Mexico Cancer Care Alliance for clinical trials Systemwide Epic (EMR) system Responsibilities: In alignment with NCCN guidelines, order and oversee diagnostic testing; prescribe treatment and supportive medications; collaborate with the care team to include palliative care, psychology, social work, PT, OT, Speech, dietician, nursing, research to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Oversee care provided by Advanced Practice Clinicians, as required by provider licensure. Participate in process improvement which drives standard of care across the continuum. Participation in tumor board(s) is required. Requirements

  • M.D. or D.O. with fellowship in Medical Oncology and Hematology
