About The Position
The Medical Office Technician at Galax Internal Medicine is responsible for providing day-to-day staffing in an outpatient clinic setting, both clinically and administratively, depending on the needs of the practice. The role includes performing all responsibilities of the Health Assistant (HAA) as well as Clinical Assistant responsibilities based on training, education, and competency. The technician will create a positive experience for patients by welcoming and assisting them throughout the clinic, performing various testing, maintaining laboratory equipment, and ensuring safety regulations are observed.
