About The Position

Saint Luke’s Pulmonary Consultants in Kansas City is seeking a Medical Office Specialist to join our team. You will work to ensure patient confidentiality in all instances , while maintaining a pleasant and professional appearance and conduct . Shift Details: Full Time Day Responsibilities : A nswer s the telephone C ommunicat es messages through email or Epic G reet s, registers, and schedules patient appointments Collects patient copayments Makes appointment reminder calls V erif ies insurance and other patient data is accurate Scans and / or upload s patient information to patients electronic chart We are seeking individuals who are a ble to provide backup for other positions and functions in the medical office including : medical records , scheduling , insurance verification , patient referrals , etc. and the ability to float between multiple locations as assigned.   • Greets, registers, and schedules patient appointments
  • Collects patient copayments
  • Makes appointment reminder calls
  • Verifies insurance and other patient data is accurate
  • Scans and / or uploads patient information to patients electronic chart
  • Provide backup for other positions and functions in the medical office including : medical records , scheduling , insurance verification , patient referrals , etc.
  • Ability to float between multiple locations as assigned
