Medical Office RN/LPN/MA / Bowling Green Family Physicians / Per Diem In accordance with the mission of Wood Health Company, and within the scope of the Ohio Board of Nursing, the Registered Nurse (RN) will provide clinical and administrative support in a medical office setting, under the direction of the physician and office manager/coordinator. The RN is accountable for the delivery of patient care utilizing the nursing process within the standards, policies, procedures and guidelines of the organization.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited School of Registered Nursing with current license to practice as an RN in the State of Ohio.
• Current license to practice as an LPN in the State of Ohio.
• Certified or Registered MA.

Responsibilities

• Assist physician or provider with patient assessment, examinations and treatments.
• Set-up for various procedures and assists the physician or provider in treatments such as surgical procedures, pelvic exams, and other medical modalities.
• Documents patient care observations and activities according to professional standards and procedures.
• Administers routine injections under the direction and supervision of a provider.
• Triages patient phone calls, in accordance with office policy.
• Promptly responds to patient phone calls and concerns.
• Telephones/faxes prescriptions under the direction of a physician or provider.
• Assists in emergency situations under the direction of the physician or provider.
