Medical Office Receptionist – Family Care 18166 Bring your passion to Texas Health so we are Better + Together Work location: 3465 National Dr. Suite 300, Plano, TX 75025 Work hours: Full-time, 40 hours weekly, Monday through Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm Family Care 18166 highlights: · Join a well-established family care clinic that truly values empathy, teamwork, and patient centered care. · Opportunity to work closely with experienced providers who care deeply about both patients and staff. · Texas Health Family Care offers excellent benefits, stability, and opportunities for career growth within one of the region’s top healthcare systems Here’s What You Need Education · High School Diploma or equivalent (required) Experience · Six months of healthcare experience in a clinical setting, or customer service experience in a clinical setting or office environment (preferred) What You Will Do · Under direct supervision, the Receptionist is responsible for performing a variety of general administrative support duties associated with the patient intake process and performs routine duties within the clinic. · Perform patient check-in at the time of visit and completes all paperwork necessary to ensure the admitting process is efficient and all clinic and regulatory policies are in compliance. · Answer phone calls and directs them appropriately. · Schedule appointments according to office guideline. · Obtains accurate patient and insurance information, collecting copays and deductible amounts. · Copy/scan patient access related hard copy materials (e.g. ID, referrals, insurance cards, etc.) into the correct location in the electronic medical record. · Prepare charts for patient appointments making sure all necessary information is complete.
