Responsibilities
- Answering phone calls from patients, referring doctors, and vendors in a friendly and welcoming manner
- Having face-to-face interactions with patients to verify demographic and health insurance information
- Updating data in an Electronic Health Record with accuracy and attention to detail
- Collecting payments of all types including cash, checks, and credit cards with professionalism and tact
- Prepping paperwork, mailings, and clerical duties
- Scheduling appointments and managing the office schedule
