Join the Heart & Vascular Specialists Clinic as a Medical Office Receptionist, where you will be part of an innovative team dedicated to making healthcare more accessible, integrated, and reliable. This full-time position requires working 40 hours weekly, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, at our Fort Worth location. You will be responsible for delivering care to patients, performing patient check-in and check-out processes, scheduling appointments, and ensuring compliance with clinic and regulatory policies. The role involves working in a fast-paced environment with a strong emphasis on teamwork and patient care.

  • Delivers care to patients utilizing the Medical Office Receptionist Process.
  • Performs patient check-in at the time of visit and completes all necessary paperwork.
  • Answers phone calls and directs them appropriately.
  • Schedules appointments according to office guidelines.
  • Obtains accurate patient and insurance information, collecting copays and deductible amounts.
  • Copies/scans patient access related hard copy materials into the electronic medical record.
  • Prepares charts for patient appointments ensuring all necessary information is complete.
  • Conducts all functions associated with patient check-out including pricing services and scheduling follow-up appointments.
  • Performs duties involving record filing and retrieval.
  • Confirms next day appointments and alerts patients regarding necessary documentation.
  • Follows up with patients regarding the Missed Appointment Policy.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (required).
  • Two years' Medical Office experience in a Clinic (strongly preferred).
  • Medical Insurance experience (strongly preferred).
  • Bilingual in English / Spanish (preferred).
  • Six months Business Office Customer Service experience (preferred).
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to multi-task front desk job responsibilities.
  • Outstanding communication, interpersonal, customer service, and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of insurance authorization/billing requirements.
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • Knowledge of clinic procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong work ethic and professionalism.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bilingual in English / Spanish.
  • Six months Business Office Customer Service experience.
