About The Position

North American Medical Associates is fast growing Multi-Specialty Medical Practice based in Hainesport, New Jersey. We are seeking a dynamic leader who can oversee multiple sites of our group. The individual should be able to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders in prusuit of high quality and efficient office practice. He or she will be working closely with Director of Ambulatory Surgery Center, Director of Revenue Cycle Management, Director of Marketing, Chief Operations Officer and Chief Executive Officer.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or Associate degree in a related field strongly preferred
  • knowledge of accounting, data and administrative processes and principles

  • knowledge of medical issues and terminology
  • knowledge of applicable regulations and state and federal laws

Responsibilities

  • Hire and train administrative staff
  • Monitor and evaluate staff performance
  • Schedule staff to meet operational requirements
  • Oversee time and attendance
  • Implement and monitor office policies and procedures
  • Responsible for facility cleaning, hygiene, safety and maintenance
  • Control removal of medical waste in compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Ensure compliance with current healthcare regulations, medical laws and ethics
  • Keep track of equipment and devices and manage inventory
  • Liaise with vendors regarding equipment and supplies
  • Ensure patient records are current and accurate
  • Supervise patient scheduling
  • Oversee registration of patients
  • Provide education material to patients
  • Communicate with patients regarding inquiries and complaints
  • Ensure patient satisfaction
  • Maintain provider schedule and productivity
