About The Position

Atlantic Health is seeking for a reliable, motivated and team-oriented individual to join our outpatient rehabilitation site located in Morristown, NJ as a Medical Office Associate. Responsibilities

Assists patients with appointment scheduling
Checks patients in/out in EPIC
Transcribes orders
Manages referrals
Monitors and schedules PT online appointment request portal
Runs estimates, collects co-pays and up front balances
Addresses EPIC work queues and maintains them in good standing
Manages departmental phone lines
Monitors Hello World (appointment reminder system)
Orders office and clinical supplies as needed
Assists patients with problem solving issues related to scheduling, registration, insurance, copays, etc.
Provides excellent customer service
Completes and adheres to all AH and AR role specific mandatory trainings, guidelines and policies
Assists with insurance responsibilities as needed (depending on site volumes)
Maintains proper communication with supervisor and staff, including email correspondence and others in a timely manner
Performs other administrative tasks as needed
Assist with training
