POSITION SUMMARY: The Digital Care Medical Assistant in the Digital Health Contact Center is responsible for handling non-acute triage clinical calls at an age and developmental level that is suitable for each individualized patient or caregiver. Responsible for providing care to patients in a variety of environments. Works collaboratively with patients, caregivers, providers, and nurses to ensure that patient care needs are met. The Medical Assistants will utilize various digital platforms to deliver exceptional care and facilitate effective communication between patients and healthcare providers. The Medical Assistant demonstrates service excellence and accountability, through recognizing the direct relationship between cost-effectiveness and efficient provision of care, while providing services that positively impact OSF HealthCare Key Results.
