About The Position

As a Medical Assistant, you will work in a collaborative environment to deliver excellent patient care under the direction of a licensed clinical professional in a clinic or practice environment. A Medical Assistant - MA is expected to facilitate all aspects of the patient visit experience.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Medical Assistant diploma or a current Medical Assistant Certification from a national agency: NCCT, NHA, AMCA, NAHP or AAMA; or a Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) through AMT
  • Current BLS through the American Heart Association
  • Prior Medical Assistant experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide appropriate patient care, triage patients, check-in assessment and discharge, medication administration at the direction of supervisor or physician, wound care, splinting or other treatments
  • Room set up and patient preparation
  • Perform office tests, administrative duties and other tasks as assigned
