Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required.
2+ years experience in healthcare or customer service preferred.
Ability to successfully pass all required training to obtain security access to perform role. Includes, but not limited to: Electronic medical record training, Insurance training-foundations, government and commercial.

Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service to our patients at Johns Hopkins Community Physicians.
Receive incoming and make outbound telephone calls to schedule appointments, process patient medication refills, process referrals, and take messages for the providers.
Provide surgical scheduling to patients.
Check patients in and out.
Verify insurance and collect demographics.
Collect co-pays.
