This position manages and coordinates with Medical Operations. It directs the design and implementation of effective programs for supervisory and administrative structures, provides analytical and operational support, defines and implements new performance assessment and management systems, analyzes core care processes, and develops recommendations to improve department and facility performance. The role also involves monitoring individual department and facility performance and recommending action steps to address issues. A key aspect of this position is creating a culture of compliance, ethics, and integrity. The individual will maintain knowledge of and assure departmental compliance with Kaiser Permanente's Principles of Responsibility, policies and procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements and accreditation standards. Additionally, the position requires responding appropriately, including required reporting, to observed fraud or abuse.
