About The Position
Norco is currently seeking an individual to fill our Medical Non-CDL Route Delivery Driver position. The Medical Non-CDL Route Delivery Driver is responsible for the delivery, set-up, and pick-up of Durable Medical Equipment (DME), supplemental oxygen products, and supplies to home care patients within a prescribed and assigned geographical area. This role is crucial in ensuring that patients receive the necessary medical equipment and supplies in a timely and efficient manner, contributing to their overall care and well-being. The driver will efficiently organize their delivery route on a daily basis, ensuring that all deliveries are made on time and in accordance with company policies. Responsibilities include delivering liquid and compressed gaseous oxygen to specified points of delivery, as well as delivering durable medical equipment and other home care-related equipment to specific locations. The driver must protect patient Protected Health Information (PHI) in compliance with HIPAA regulations and handle the retrieval of rental return items, ensuring they are properly placed into the designated rental return area. In addition to delivery tasks, the Medical Non-CDL Route Delivery Driver will provide patient/client orientation, instructing them on the proper use of the equipment delivered. This role requires the driver to work closely with patients and clients to solve a variety of problems, acting as a representative of the company in the field. The position may also involve performing other tasks as assigned or necessary, making it a dynamic and engaging role within the medical service department.
