About The Position

Requirements

• Licensed to practice law in Florida with good standing.
• First Chair trial experience in medical malpractice cases.
• Minimum of 5 trials completed to verdict.
• Strong medical knowledge relevant to cases.
• Excellent research skills using legal and non-legal sources.
• Ability to analyze medical records and case matters.

Responsibilities

• Handle all aspects of medical malpractice cases in state and federal court.
• Conduct pre-trial preparation including motions, depositions, and mediations.
• Appear in court for hearings and trials.
• Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients.
• Analyze medical records and other relevant documents to build case theories.
• Collaborate with medical experts to develop expert reports and testimony.
• Provide direction and guidance to the litigation team.
