Medical Laboratory Technology Instructor
About The Position
Fortis College is seeking an experienced Medical Laboratory Technologist to serve as Instructor at its Baton Rouge campus. To provide lab and/or classroom instruction, prepare progress reports of students, evaluate textbooks, advise students, reference books and other teaching materials, participate in faculty meetings, etc. Positive, energetic, detailed-oriented, and extremely professional candidates are encouraged to apply to join our faculty and help students create better lives through education! Fortis College provides instructor training, so teaching experience is a plus, but not necessary. Requirements
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience as a Med Tech
- Current ASCP/AMT certification
- Current LSBME Generalist license
- Graduate from an accredited Med Tech program
- Ability to travel to clinical sites is mandatory
- The desire to help others succeed in their career goals
Nice To Haves
- Teaching experience a plus, but not required
