JOB SUMMARY: The employee must correctly order, collect, and process laboratory specimens in a timely manner. The employee will perform all assigned testing in Hematology, Coagulation, Chemistry, Special Chemistry, Urinalysis, Blood Bank, and Microbiology. The employee will troubleshoot analyzers and perform maintenance as needed. The employee must adhere to all lab policies and procedures. The employee will run proficiency samples as assigned. Requirements

  • Must have a Bachelor’s degree in either MLS/CLS, Chemistry, Biology, Physics or equivalent Physical Science.
  • Current certification as MLT/MLS/CLS with an accrediting agency.
  • Current BLS Certification.
  • Valid driver’s license
  • 2+ years in the clinical laboratory.

Responsibilities

  • correctly order, collect, and process laboratory specimens in a timely manner
  • perform all assigned testing in Hematology, Coagulation, Chemistry, Special Chemistry, Urinalysis, Blood Bank, and Microbiology
