The Medical Laboratory Technologist will perform a variety of laboratory procedures to examine and analyze body fluids, tissues, and cells; analyze chemical content of fluids; perform blood bank type and screens and cross match blood. Test for drug levels in the blood to show how a patient is responding to treatment. Use and maintain automated equipment and instruments used in performing tests, as well as microscopes, cell counters, and other equipment. Perform quality control daily and maintain proper documentation. Able to perform basic troubleshooting functions on analyzers.
