We are searching for a talented Medical Laboratory Technician. $3,000 new hire sign-on bonus for this position. (Rehires termed more than 1 year also eligible).

Requirements

• Associate Degree in Medical Laboratory Science required.
• Certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician from the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP), or equivalent certification within one year of date of hire.
• One year of experience in multiple laboratory disciplines including Chemistry, Hematology, and Blood Bank preferred.
• Medical Laboratory Technician certification from the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP), or equivalent certification is required within one year of date of hire.
• Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID-19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired.

Responsibilities

• Perform all routine laboratory analysis with accuracy and precision according to written procedures.
• Identify all critical or unexpected results and verify results according to established procedures.
• Notify Supervisor or Clinical Specialist as appropriate.
• Prepare samples for analysis.
• Draw correct specimen and volume.
• Assign accession numbers.
• Maintain workstation in a neat and orderly fashion.
