We are seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician to join Q2 Solutions, IQVIA’s laboratory business at Valencia, CA. Job Summary: Shift: Sunday to Thursday, 12:00 PM - 8:30 PM The Laboratory Technician will perform routine analysis and laboratory testing procedures to ensure accurate and timely data for research studies, while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a chemical, physical, biological, or clinical laboratory science, medical laboratory technology, or cytotechnology ( required ).
• MLT License ( required ).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, frequent standing and walking, occasional sitting, and close eye work requirements (e.g., computer use, reading small print).
• Physical demands vary depending on assigned work area and tasks.
• Occasional exposure to cold temperatures.
• Proficiency with relevant laboratory techniques and equipment, including automation.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Knowledge of laboratory safety, infection control, and GLP standards.

Nice To Haves

• Minimum 6 months of experience in a regulated laboratory environment ( preferred ).
• Other equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Perform and document analytical procedures in line with SOPs and regulatory guidelines.
• Conduct routine data analysis to ensure accuracy and acceptable tolerances, escalating unusual results to senior staff.
• Upload data analysis results to LIMS systems under senior staff supervision.
• Support quality investigations, deviation resolution, and procedural changes as required.
• Prepare buffers, solutions, and reagents for laboratory analysis.
• Train entry-level staff, assist with onboarding, and deliver hands-on training in proven competencies.
• Maintain laboratory equipment, including calibration and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate on cross-functional projects and provide clear, accurate, and timely communications.
