About The Position

The position involves performing a wide variety of laboratory procedures using both manual and automated methods. The individual is expected to demonstrate a considerable degree of independent judgment regarding the performance and reporting of results. Additionally, the role includes active participation in the quality improvement activities of the laboratory.

Requirements

• Associate's Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology, Biological Sciences, Chemistry, or Life Sciences with 26 science credits and appropriate experience in a CLIA laboratory.
• Military Training Program completion with the military enlisted occupational specialty of Medical Laboratory Specialist - Laboratory Technician may be accepted in lieu of degree.
• Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree.

Nice To Haves

• 1 year experience in relevant laboratory section
• Amer Soc Clinical Pathology certification.
