About The Position
A community-based healthcare facility in New Hampshire is seeking a skilled Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) for a 13-week assignment. The ideal candidate must be able to work independently and perform a wide range of laboratory procedures while ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and patient safety.
Requirements
- 1–2 Years of Laboratory Experience Preferred (Ability to Function Independently Required)
- Phlebotomy Course Completion or Relevant Phlebotomy Experience
- MLT Certification Required
- BLS (American Heart Association) – Preferred
Responsibilities
- Perform laboratory testing procedures in accordance with established protocols
- Ensure patient safety and minimize medical/healthcare errors
- Verify questionable results or samples and repeat procedures as necessary
- Function in all areas of the clinical laboratory, including: Blood Bank Chemistry Hematology Microbiology Serology/Immunology Urinalysis Phlebotomy
- Perform routine phlebotomy services as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to quality control standards
