About The Position

A leading acute care hospital in Florida is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician (Generalist) to join its laboratory team. This role supports diagnostic testing across multiple laboratory disciplines and is essential to delivering accurate and timely patient results. Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent – Required
• MLT, ASCP, CPT, or AMT certification – Required
• State of Florida Medical Laboratory Technician License (Generalist) – Required
• License must be in hand or actively applied

Nice To Haves

• Associate’s Degree or higher – Preferred
• Medical laboratory experience – Preferred
• New graduates considered if they have completed clinical rotations or worked as a lab assistant/complex specimen processor

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and complex laboratory testing across general laboratory areas
• Accurately process and analyze specimens according to established protocols
• Maintain quality control, documentation, and compliance with laboratory standards
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment
• Collaborate with laboratory leadership and clinical teams to support patient care
