About The Position

The Medical Laboratory Technician I position in Buffalo, MN involves performing routine lab tests under the direction of senior laboratory personnel in the specialties for which the technician is qualified by education, training, and experience. The role requires working Monday to Friday from 7:00 am to 8:30 pm, with 8-hour shifts that include rotating start times, as well as rotational weekends and holidays.

Requirements

• Education and training in medical laboratory technology or a related field.
• Experience in a laboratory setting is preferred.
• Ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in performing tests.

Nice To Haves

• Certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) by a recognized body.
• Experience with specific laboratory equipment and software.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine lab tests under the direction of senior laboratory personnel.
• Ensure compliance with laboratory protocols and procedures.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and supplies.
• Document test results accurately and timely.
