About The Position

Immediate hiring for 'Medical Lab Scientist / Clinical Lab Scientist / Medical Technologist' in San Antonio, TX! This is a fully onsite position in Castroville, TX. The role involves receiving specimens, assessing specimen integrity, verifying labeling and documentation, complex specimen processing, reagent preparation, test performance, and reporting test results within the assigned area. The candidate will perform all required quality control tasks to ensure the validity of test results and maintain documentation regarding quality control, calibrations, maintenance, and handling of proficiency testing samples. Troubleshooting procedures will also be part of the responsibilities, along with taking corrective actions to ensure the validity of test results and maintaining documentation.

Requirements

• 1+ Years of experience working as a certified MLS / MT / CLS is Mandatory.
• Bachelors OR Associate Degree is Mandatory.
• MT OR MLS OR CLS certification is Mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Receiving specimens, assessing specimen integrity, verifying labeling and documentation.
• Complex specimen processing, reagent preparation, test performance, and reporting test results within the assigned area.
• Performing all required quality control tasks to ensure validity of test results.
• Maintaining documentation regarding quality control, calibrations, maintenance, and handling of proficiency testing samples.
• Performing troubleshooting procedures and taking corrective actions to ensure validity of test results.
