About The Position
Providence Mission Hospital in Mission Viejo, CA, is seeking a full-time Medical Laboratory Scientist for 8-hour day shifts. Under the general supervision of the Chief Clinical Laboratory Scientist, this role involves obtaining and processing patient specimens, performing various clinical laboratory tests for use in the diagnosis and treatment of disease. The scientist will analyze, interpret, and report test results, ensuring accuracy, verifying tests as necessary, and directly notifying appropriate personnel of critical results while providing proper documentation. The position provides diagnostic laboratory services for neonate, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients. Requirements
- Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement
- California Clinical Laboratory Scientist License upon hire

Responsibilities
