Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in medical technology or clinical Lab Science or equivalent educ/experience
- Education and training equivalent to a bachelor's degree in a chemical, physical or biological science with sufficient clinical laboratory experience on human specimens to meet Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) or Medical Technologist (MT) certification requirements through a nationally accrediting agency, e.g. American Society of Clinical Pathology (ASCP) or the American Medical Technologists (AMT)
- National Medical Laboratory Scientist - American Society for Clinical Pathology within 1 year of hire.
- Or National Clinical Laboratory Scientist - American Society for Clinical Pathology within 1 year of hire.
- Or National Medical Technologist - American Association of Bioanalysts within 1 year of hire.
- Or National Medical Technologist - American Medical Technologists within 1 year of hire.
- Or National Medical Technologist - American Society for Clinical Pathology within 1 year of hire.
