Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Perform assigned test procedures under the supervision of senior laboratory personnel.
  • Conduct analytical tests in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and quality control requirements.
  • Support and comply with laboratory policies and procedures.
  • Maintain turnaround time for results, including critical results to clients.
  • Ensure test systems are in control for each test performed.
  • Inform supervisory personnel of any problems with test procedures.
  • Report deviations from standard testing procedures and cooperate with investigations.
  • Maintain laboratory areas and equipment in a safe and sanitary condition.
  • Complete training and competency checklists as required.
  • Adhere to CLIA, HIPAA, OSHA, and laboratory safety requirements.
