JOB SUMMARY Upon training approval, and once signed procedures are completed, you will be assigned to the specific departments based on the needs of the laboratory, volumes, and workload. Your training will be “on the job” and all sections with high complexity testing will be a minimum three-month rotation. Self-study materials will be provided to meet the CLIA/CMS training recommended guidelines for non-traditional "Medical Laboratory Scientist" students. Once your training is completed, you will be primarily responsible for performing laboratory tests in assigned laboratory sections under the direct supervision of the section supervisors.
