About The Position

DEFINITION: Under the direction of the Laboratory Director, the MT/MLS performs medical laboratory testing, procedures, experiments, and analyses to provide data for diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease. Demonstrates wise use of time, energy and resources to function within the confines of the approved budget for the Laboratory. Performs all work according to the mission, vision, and values of McBride Orthopedic Hospital. This is a safety sensitive position.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology.
• Registration as MT (ASCP), MLS (ASCP) or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

• Previous hospital experience preferred.
