About The Position
As a Medical Laboratory Scientist, you perform complex lab tests essential for diagnosing, treating, and preventing a variety of medical conditions. You will use critical thinking as you evaluate and solve problems related to biological specimens that you analyze, and you will provide interpretation of those tests. When questions arise regarding results or factors affecting results, you serve as the expert when answering. You also act as a connector to foster effective communication between the lab and health care teams.
Requirements
- Associates or Bachelors in Medical Lab Technician/Medical Lab Science/Clinical Lab Science.
- Must be MLT or MLS ASCP eligible within one year.
- Experience working within a hospital is ideal.
