About The Position
The position involves performing test procedures of moderate to high complexity, requiring independent judgment and responsibility in the relevant specialties. The candidate must demonstrate proficiency in all areas of testing and troubleshooting applicable instruments and procedures. Responsibilities include supporting the department in quality control, troubleshooting complex problems, customer support, instrument maintenance, staff training, process improvement, and completing special projects. The role also requires adherence to laboratory policies and procedures for specimen handling, test analysis, reporting, and maintaining patient test results records. The candidate must ensure compliance with quality control requirements and maintain laboratory areas and equipment in a safe and sanitary condition.
