About The Position
Sentara Obici Hospital is hiring a lab tech to work full time nights (11p-730a) in the clinical lab. Sign on bonus up to $20,000 for qualified candidates! As a Medical Laboratory Scientist or Laboratory Technician, duties are to perform laboratory tests; interpret results; documents and reports results. Maintains department equipment, instruments, and tools. Sentara Obici Hospital, a 175-bed state-of-the-art facility, is located on Godwin Boulevard in Suffolk, VA. Requirements
- Bachelor’s in medical technology or Biology/Chemical Science
- Associates degree in Medical Technology
- ASCP or AMT certification; OR AAB certification for MLS only
- Eligible for certification
