About The Position

Quest Diagnostics is seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist I to join our Clinical Toxicology department in Lewisville, TX. This position is scheduled from Thursday to Monday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM. We are looking for candidates who are intrigued by the science of the human body and are curious about state-of-the-art laboratory instrumentation. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science or a related field.
• Certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) or equivalent.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a clinical laboratory setting.
• Familiarity with laboratory information systems and electronic health records.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory tests and analyses in accordance with established protocols and procedures.
• Ensure the accuracy and reliability of test results by following quality control measures.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and instrumentation, ensuring they are in good working condition.
• Document and report test results in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with other laboratory staff and healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care.
