About The Position

Medical Laboratory Scientist - Clinical Lab at Providence Saint John’s Health Center in Santa Monica, CA. This position is full-time and will work 8-hour, Day shifts. Under the general supervision of the Administrative Director of the Laboratory, performs accurate analysis of laboratory specimens. Must demonstrate a high degree of proficiency and understanding in laboratory procedures in one or more sections of the Pathology Department or demonstrates competency in three or more sections, to facilitate quality patient care and diagnosis. Participates in solution of technical problems requiring a great degree of independent judgment and assists in development of testing in the assigned section(s). Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree Clinical Laboratory Science (Chemistry, Microbiology, Physics, Biology), or a related Life Science
  • Upon hire: California Clinical Laboratory Scientist License California
