About The Position
Baptist Medical Center is currently looking for a Medical Laboratory Assistant II to join our team in our Lab Outreach department at our Nocatee Outpatient location. This is a full time, Monday through Friday day shift opportunity. This candidate must have pediatric draw experience. As a Medical Laboratory Assistant II, you will be responsible for: Performing a variety of clerical and technical duties associated with the pre- and post-analytical handling of laboratory specimens and results. Communicating laboratory results and responds to specimen-related questions from physicians and various other caregivers. Collecting blood specimens for routine and special laboratory procedures. Requirements
- Pediatric draw experience
- High School Diploma/GED
- Less than 1 year Phlebotomy Experience
- Specimen Processing Experience
Nice To Haves
- Associate's Degree
- Certified Phlebotomy Technician Preferred
