About The Position

Play an essential role in the quality and safety of patient care, performing a wide range of procedures that assist our providers with the diagnosis, treatment and management of patients and their health needs. We are seeking a Medical Lab Technician – Support Services to: Perform testing in the clinical laboratories (any complexity). Perform advanced troubleshooting, maintenance, and problem resolution. Demonstrate strong decision-making skills, ability to work independently, and the ability to take on teaching/training responsibilities as needed. Work as an effective team member as demonstrated by good relations with physicians, clinic staff and co-workers. Requirements

  • Associate's Degree in laboratory science or medical laboratory technology Required or education and training equivalent to an associate degree to include 60 semester hours including either 24 semester hours of medical laboratory technology courses or 24 semester hours of science courses Required

Nice To Haves

  • 1 year experience as Medical Laboratory Technician or relevant laboratory experience Preferred
  • Certification Medical Laboratory Technician by the board of American Society of Clinical Pathologists or similar agency Preferred
