More about our team We are a small laboratory, focusing on accuracy, patient care and safety. We have a large test menu offering reliable results to help guide clinical decisions and treatments. We are a highly motivated, dependable laboratory, accredited by the Joint Commission, and play a vital role in accurate diagnosis, effective treatment, and overall patient well-being.

Requirements

  • Applicants should have an associates degree in Medical Technology or related science or have equivalent education and experience as defined by the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Act of 1988.
  • Knowledge and skill to operate standard office machinery
  • Must have knowledge of laboratory procedures and ability to perform laboratory functions in the essential areas of chemistry, coagulation, hematology, immunology, microbiology, clinical microscopy and transfusion medicine.

Nice To Haves

  • Certification as a medical laboratory technician preferred

Responsibilities

  • Performs routine laboratory tests in various sections of the laboratory.
  • Uses the laboratory information system to register patients, enter test orders, and report test results to providers.
