Organization: Core Lab - 2nd Shift Job Summary: Performs routine and stat clinical pathology testing appropriate to the laboratory discipline and reports results in a timely manner with occasional guidance. Responsible for the accurate performance of laboratory tests and other duties in a manner that complies with all approved protocols. Utilizes basic problem-solving skills to assure accurate and reliable clinical outcomes. . Key Responsibilities: Provides patient-focused care in a clinical setting through the accurate performance of routine tests through the pre-analytic, analytic and post-analytic stages. Demonstrate critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. Actively participates in compliance and quality management activities. Consistently promote teamwork and utilize constructive communication and collaboration skills. Technical Capabilities: Quality Assurance (Fundamental Awareness): Understands the goal of increasing organizational productivity and individual performance by making the products and services within your work assignments more efficient and more effective. Demonstrates quality management practices on the job which result in superior products and services delivered. Equipment Maintenance (Novice): Possesses sufficient fundamental proficiency to successfully demonstrate the ability to maintain equipment, products, or systems in practical applications of moderate difficulty. Assures that parts inventory is sufficient. Diagnostic Testing (Novice): Demonstrates proficiency of diagnostic testing in practical applications. Possesses sufficient knowledge, training, and experience to be capable of successfully delivering results. Allied health is among the fastest growing occupations in healthcare today. Requirements

• LIC-Medical Laboratory Act - Tennessee
• Medical Laboratory Technician - American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP)
• Relevant Work Experience
• Less than 1 year Experience Level
• Graduate of an approved discipline specific program (Required)
