About The Position

This is a temporary position until September 12th, 2026. Laboratory professionals are key members of today’s health care team, and quality medical care depends on them. Every day, nurses, physicians, and other medical workers rely on laboratory professionals to perform tests on body fluids and tissue samples, interpret the results and help provide a complete picture of a patient’s health. Without this precise and valuable information, medicine would simply be guesswork. This position is a generalist position working primarily in chemistry and hematology. Schedule: Full-time temporary role | 80 hours every two weeks | Onsite Days | 8-hour shifts | Shifts between 5am-3pm Every other weekend and rotating holidays Pay and Benefits: Starting pay begins at $33.61 per hour and increases with experience Pay range: $30.65 - $45.98 per hour $10,000 Hiring Bonus or $15,000 Student Loan Repayment! $5,000 Relocation bonus (if applicable)! Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent
Bachelor’s degree with necessary science/math credits as required and verified by the ASCP Board of Certification (BOC). New graduate’s degree must be validated within 2 months post-graduation
ASCP-BOC certified within 6 months with first exam completed within 3 months of hire, with certification verified within six weeks of exam
Recent experience of two or more years in large acute care facility preferred
Transportation available for off campus laboratory related activities may be required.
A valid Minnesota driver’s license, a driving record in good standing, and the minimum amount of insurance liability coverage may be required.
To be eligible for the hiring bonus, student loan repayment or relocation bonus, you must be an external candidate who is hired into an eligible full time or part time benefited position.
Previous CentraCare employees qualify if they have not worked for CentraCare for at least 9 months at the date of hire.
