About The Position
Responsible for the analysis of laboratory specimens and subsequent result reporting according to laboratory protocol and procedures.
Requirements
- Baccalaureate degree in relevant science preferred
- One year clinical laboratory internship preferred
- MT(ASCP) or equivalent registration, or MT eligible under Medicare laboratory regulations
- Adhere to infection control policies and guidelines appropriate for their work area.
- Hand hygiene and PPE (job applicable) followed when appropriate.
- The registered Medical Technologist must have a sound knowledge of Clinical Laboratory science.
- The employee shall have the ability to perform highly advanced technical and complex analytic work.
