About The Position

This position involves processing and testing all types of laboratory specimens, reviewing and reporting lab results, and performing operational duties, maintenance, and advanced troubleshooting of laboratory instrumentation and equipment. The role also acts as a resource to other laboratory personnel. Additional responsibilities include assisting with new equipment validation and implementation, employee training and competency assessment, regulatory compliance responsibilities for agencies like CAP, TCJ, and AABB, and ensuring quality assurance, quality control, and instrument maintenance. Responsibilities

  • Processes and tests all types of laboratory specimens
  • Reviews and reports lab results
  • Performs operational duties, maintenance, and advanced troubleshooting of laboratory instrumentation and equipment
  • Acts as resource to other laboratory personnel
  • Assists with new equipment validation and implementation
  • Assists with employee training and competency assessment
  • Handles regulatory compliance responsibilities for CAP, TCJ, AABB or other agencies
  • Ensures quality assurance, quality control and instrument maintenance
