About The Position

This internship will work within the Atlantic Consolidated Laboratory to assist the Medical Laboratory Scientists and other team members. The Medical Laboratory Scientist Internship's responsibilities include (but are not limited to): Collaborate with scientists on projects involving hands-on laboratory computation and data analysis projects. Under appropriate supervision and guidance assist in performing waived and non-waived testing, trouble-shooting equipment, and other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a full-time accredited undergraduate or graduate program at a public or private College/University
• In good academic standing at their institution
• Committed to completing the duration of the internship from June 2026 - August 2026
• Available to work 37.5 hours per week and commit to a minimum of 375 hours for the duration of the internship
• Completing a course of study such as Medical Laboratory Science, Biology, Pre-Med or Medicine, or related disciplines
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Highly organized and team-oriented
• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel (required)
• Willing to ask for help as needed

Nice To Haves

• Demonstrated experience handling patient samples (preferred, but not required)
